Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and oversee technology-driven projects that align with our organizations strategic goals. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing project lifecycles ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high-quality standards while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning executing and finalizing IT projects within scope budget and timeline.
- Developing comprehensive project plans including resource allocation risk management and contingency planning.
- Coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Managing changes to project scope schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Leading cross-functional teams ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.
- Identifying and mitigating risks and addressing issues proactively to maintain project continuity.
- Ensuring all projects adhere to regulatory and compliance standards particularly those relevant to the financial services industry.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members and stakeholders on project management best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager preferably in the financial services or banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira Microsoft Project or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Certification in project management (e.g. PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent) is a plus.
- Familiarity with banking operations compliance requirements and digital transformation initiatives is highly advantageous.
