About the Team:
You will be joining Lambeths Skills and Employment team part of the councils Economy Culture & Skills division. We collaborate across council services and with external partners to deliver employment support thats innovative inclusive and rooted in community needs.
About the Role:
Are you passionate about supporting young people to realise their potential Do you have the drive and creativity to design and deliver employment solutions that make a real difference If so we want to hear from you.
We are looking for a passionate and forward-thinking Programme Manager to lead the development and delivery of innovative approaches that reshape how Lambeth supports care leavers into sustainable meaningful employment.
You will play a critical role in transforming our employment and skills function to ensure it delivers better bolder outcomes for care experienced young people particularly those facing multiple barriers to opportunities.
You will lead the design and delivery of the Lambeth Full Potential programme an initiative focused on supporting NEET (Not in Education Employment or Training) care leavers to realise their aspirations. By embedding high-quality holistic support and building strong partnerships across sectors youll create clear pathways into training education and good-quality work.
Youll be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering innovative programmes tailored to care leavers employment and skills needs.
- Leading multi-agency partnerships including employers training providers voluntary sector organisations and internal council teams.
- Managing programme performance data and reporting to support service planning and drawdown of funding.
- Promote equity diversity and inclusion throughout the programmesupporting marginalised groups and tackling systemic barriers to employment.
