Wilson College is seeking applicants for a full-time 12-month non-tenured faculty appointment at the Assistant / Associate Professor rank to serve as the Coordinator of Curriculum of the developing accelerated hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. This accelerated 2-year program is a blend of online and on-campus learning activities which allows for remote work. However the faculty member must travel and stay in the Philadelphia area for the intensive lab sessions respective of the courses to which they agree to teach.
OBJECTIVE:
The Coordinator of Curriculum (COC) holds an academic faculty appointment with administrative academic scholarship and service responsibilities consistent with the mission and philosophy of Wilson College and the DPT program. This remote/hybrid position will require periodic Travel to Pennsylvania throughout the year for College and Program functions accordingly.
The COC isresponsible for overseeing all program curricular planning implementation and review processes. The responsibilities include working directly with program faculty to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated curriculum is based on foundational documents best evidence and contemporary clinical practice. The COC will direct and evaluate of stakeholder input as part of ongoing curriculum review processes. The COC serves as the Chair of the Curriculum Committee which serves as the primary coordinating body for all issues involving the programs curriculum.
Specific responsibilities include all aspects of planning coordinating facilitating administering and monitoring student recruitment application selection admission and matriculation processes for the DPT Program. As a part of these responsibilities the COA creates maintains and recommends updates to admissions policies recruitment materials and procedures. Lastly the COA also oversees faculty involvement in a transparent admissions process that guarantees nondiscrimination and equal opportunity.
