Title of role: Mix Making and Logistics Supervisor

Background & Purpose of the Job:

Under the immediate direction of the Mix and Logistics Area lead and the Mix / Logistics Room Manager. This position is responsible for building the night shift teams of mix/log into effective efficient teams with a high standard for culture and compliance. All mix/log personnel will report to this individual.

They will ensure employee safety food safety product quality standards are met. They will also oversee and be responsible for the proper procurement of ingredients according to production planning inbound shipments employee scheduling functions raw / pack cycle counting finished goods inventory and material storage. In responsible for ensuring MV and OEE targets are Met via managing end of month activities controlling mix room MV ensuring FIFO utilization and supporting the expired blocked stock program. Supports continuous improvement in these departments and participates in other pillars.

What Youll Do:

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Procurement of Dairy Sugars Coatings when necessary.

  • Scheduling of Mix/Log Room Personnel.

  • Managing material storage standards and processes.

  • Ensuring inventories of Ingredients and cycle counting is adequate.

  • Investigation and resolving of MV losses within the department.

  • Maintain State regulated programs and procedures.

  • Maintain CIP and cleaning programs.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What Youll Need To Succeed:

Knowledge and skill requirements:

  • Ability to navigate and use web-based programs such as Buildapp Weever Megamation DFOS SAP Microsoft and SPC

  • Ability to apply rigorous Cost Deployment and the Zero loss concept to eliminate losses utilizing continuous improvement

  • Must be flexible within pattern of shift work to accommodate factory shutdowns training courses etc. and emergency cover.

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in all facets of a Log/Mix Room environment preferred.

  • Minimum of one (1) year direct pasteurizer experience (including all areas of operating the press control room and ability to make adjustments to materials and mix) preferred.

  • Understands the role of formulas in the Mix / Log process and is able to work with them.

  • Strong math and computer-based skills (SAP MS WORD AND EXCEL).

  • Able to communicate and work effectively with multiple departments and the corresponding leaders.

  • Ability to lift 50-to-80-pounds.

Working Environment:

Variable consisting of the office environment the mix room logistics department and the manufacturing floor. Potential hazards include proximity of moving machinery chemical exposure or heavy lifting. The position may require an individual to stand stoop move equipment; bend reach or lift for prolonged periods of time. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) includes safety glasses hearing protection sanitary/anti-slip safety toe footwear fall restraints and other PPE as .

Pay: The pay range for this position is $69360 to $104040. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets experience and training licensure and certifications qualifications and education and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
