Work Flexibility: Onsite
Schedule:
Thursday & Friday (7:00am 3:00pm)
Saturday & Sunday (7:00am 7:00pm) OT as needed
What you will do:
As a Machine Operator III in our Needle Punch Department this role involves operating machinery performing inspections assisting with maintenance and working at elevated heights within a fast-paced production environment.
- Under general supervision operate machinery and inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment while keeping accurate production records and maintenance logs
- Assist maintenance teams in troubleshooting and repairing machinery issues
- Adhere to site specific quality systems and processes
- Identify and accurately record scrap maintenance requests and production documents
- Operate simple manufacturing equipment demonstrate machining/mechanical aptitude and learn new responsibilities and tasks as needed
- Train others in operational and/or documentation procedures as needed
- Identify and appropriately report safety concerns production issues and documentation errors.
- Effectively collaborate with peers functional departments and visitors of Stryker
What you need:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 Years of relevant experience
- Ability to climb up 10 feet off the ground.
Preferred:
- 2 years of mechanical experience
- Ability to exert up to 50-75 occasionally
