Job Description

This role is part of our Creative & Media team based in Amsterdam. Our team is a vibrant mix of talents ranging from Creatives Influencer Marketers Brand & Content Strategists to Account Managers Programmatic and Marketing Automation Consultants. Together we blend imaginative storytelling and performance-driven strategies with cutting-edge technology to create engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Netflix Canva Foot Locker Philips & Biscoff.

JOB PURPOSE

This role is part of our social creative team. We deliver quality content across all social channels that is platform-first engaging and always on trend. The team is rapidly growing and is incredibly versatile & talented. We are seeking an organised and culture-obsessed Social Media Manager to support the team in the developing a highly engaged community for some of the worlds biggest and most exciting brands including but not limited to Bol Path Viper Grolsch.

Youll have experience in managing multiple social media platforms and have excellent communication and organisation skills to support and manage the running of accounts and social media activity this will include client management and communication ensuring clear briefings supporting with resource as well as scheduling posting gathering social insights and identifying the latest trends and platform updates!

It goes without saying that youll know the latest social trends memes viral sounds and breaking news before anyone else does and be able to bring them to a weekly newsroom.

As a Team Lead youll not only manage social accounts and content delivery but also play a key role in supporting and guiding a part of our team of Social Media Managers & Social Creatives (10 FTE in total). Youll be responsible for the happiness performance and growth of your team ensuring theyre aligned with goals and have the tools and mentorship to thrive. Youll also own team-level reporting both on the output and wellbeing side and be involved in hiring and onboarding as the team expands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating a debrief with the client (including calendar);
  • Briefing the creative teams (cultural content);
  • Guarding the briefing and brand guidelines during the creative process;
  • Alignment with traffic on planning;
  • Alignment with paid social on briefing/(paid) assets when needed;
  • Ensuring assets are created and delivered on time according to briefing AND brand guidelines;
  • Delivery of assets to client via appointed tools;
  • Creating toolkits for external parties;
  • Organic reporting & recommendations based on KPIs and trends;
  • Ongoing social listening spotting trends etc;
  • Overall go-to thought leader on everything organic social (trends tooling etc.);
  • Completing work to a deadline often with fast turnaround times;
  • Be aware of and respond to current platform updates media trends and pop culture
  • Use your experience and ideas to contribute to the development of our creative process

TEAM LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and support a part of our team of Social Media Managers and Social Creatives creating a clear structure for ownership development and delivery
  • Foster a positive motivated team culture focused on collaboration creativity and personal growth
  • Conduct regular 1:1s and team check-ins to align on priorities track goals and provide guidance
  • Be responsible for team-level reporting: covering their performance wellbeing and utilization of the team
  • Identify development needs and support growth paths for individuals within the team
  • Collaborate with recruitment and participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members
  • Own internal team planning resource allocation and delivery oversight ensuring alignment with wider project timelines

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Fluent in Dutch and Dutch culture
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant experience in a social media manager role within a creative and fast paced environment
  • Expert knowledge of scheduling and social media platforms including TikTok
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience mentoring or managing a team
  • Finger on the pulse for trends (social cultural gaming music)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to react quickly within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to remain focused under pressure and work under tight deadlines
  • Works well within a team and with clients
