Purpose of the job
AkzoNobel is looking for a skilled finance professional to join our team! In this dual role youll act as a key business partner for EMEA commercial teams while also managing the global RD&I cost performance.
What Youll Do:
- Partner with commercial teams to drive profitability and strategic planning.
- Analyze performance challenge assumptions and identify opportunities for growth.
- Manage and report on global RD&I functional costs and drive cost agility.
- Support pricing contract compliance and cost control initiatives.
- Lead productivity and process improvement efforts across teams.
What you bring
- University degree in Finance/Accounting; MBA CMA CIMA or Executive Master preferred.
- 5 years of experience in finance/business control roles.
- Strong business acumen analytical thinking and stakeholder management.
- Confident communicator who can challenge and support senior leadership.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP Hyperion BW); fluent in English
