An AutoCAD Engineercreates and maintains technical drawings using AutoCAD software.They collaborate with project teams ensure designs meet standards and manage drawing documentation.Their responsibilities include creating and revising drawings ensuring accuracy and adhering to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and Revising Drawings:Developing and modifying technical drawings using AutoCAD including 2D and 3D models.
- Meeting Project Requirements:Collaborating with engineers architects and project managers to understand design needs and specifications.
- Ensuring Accuracy:Reviewing drawings for accuracy completeness and adherence to industry standards and project guidelines.
- Managing Documentation:Organizing and maintaining an organized database of drawings and project files.
- Preparing Project Documentation:Assisting in the preparation of project documentation reports and bills of materials.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD:Strong understanding and practical experience with AutoCAD software.
- Technical Drawing Skills:Ability to create and interpret technical drawings blueprints and schematics.
- Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to identify and resolve design issues and discrepancies.
