Objectives of the internship:
Within the Alstom APAC Innovation Station based in Singapore support the green innovation leader in driving green innovations which could include:
- Designing circular economy initiatives
- Supporting the deployment of environmental claims
- Structuring carbon credit mechanisms
- Testing and evaluating new HVAC technologies
Main responsibilities:
Support the green innovation leader in the managment and execution of innovation projects:
- support the management of projects: assist in setting objectives and KPIs track progress and follow up open points prepare and conduct projects meeting
- support the technical development of green innovations:
- collect and analyse data (e.g. carbon emissions materials balances test result)
- extract relevent elements from available documentation
- analyse regulatory context on specific topics (carbon finance waste management green communication...)
- support the validatation of green innovations:
- assess feasibility: conduct small calculations prepare and review test plans assess costs
- conduct market studies: identify customers prepare questionnaires and analyze results
- prepare business plans
- prepare communication documents and presentations
- on opportunity propose and initiate new innovations
What Were Looking For:
- Background in engineering environmental science sustainability or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A rigorous and detail-oriented approach to work
- Interest in sustainability innovation and green technologies
- Good communication and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
