Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Research Fellow that supports the photonic platform development at the National Center of Advanced Integrated Photonics. The Senior Research Fellow will be instrumental in guiding and the development of photonic platform and advanced chip design.

Job Description:

  • Development and guide cutting-edge photonic platform development

  • Design of high-performance large-scale photonic integrated circuits

  • Serve as the contact point for foundry

  • Coordinate foundry submissions for the entire center

Requirements:

  • PhD in electrical engineering with more than 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in working with commercial foundries and the photonic industry.

  • Skills in photonic platform development and chip design.

  • Ability to publish in academic journals and present in conferences.

  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other research groups.

  • Production of photonic layouts using gdsfactory.

  • Knowledgeable in MATLAB and Python is necessary.

  • Knowledgeable in Ansys Lumerical FDTD MODE INTERCONNECT CML COMPILER MULTIPHYSICS
