We are seeking an experiencedSoftware Engineering Team Lead (Fullstack - backend focused)to lead our web application development team. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership and technical expertise to guide the team through all phases of the software development lifecycle ensuring the successful delivery of scalable high-quality web applications. The role requires a balance between hands-on development architecture design and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a team of software engineers providing mentorship performance feedback and career development support.
• Technical Leadership: Design develop and maintain high-performance scalable web applications. Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices for coding architecture and security.
• Project Management: Collaborate with product managers designers and stakeholders to plan prioritize and deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Agile Process Management: Drive agile processes including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives ensuring efficient and collaborative development cycles.
• System Architecture & Design: Lead architectural decisions ensuring robust scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for testing (unit integration and end-to-end tests) to maintain code quality and ensure system reliability.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with other teams (DevOps UX/UI QA) to deliver full-stack solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and lead initiatives to improve codebase tooling and development processes.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout project development and implementation.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
• Experience:
  • 7 years of experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in web application development with a solid understanding of front-end and back-end technologies.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in modern web development languages and frameworks (C# .Net JavaScript).
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs microservices architecture and AWS cloud platform.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and ORM frameworks.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines Jenkins).
  • Proficiency in Git version control systems and development workflows.
• Leadership Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and growing technical teams.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication collaboration and interpersonal skills.
