About the Role

  • This role would suit a junior RMO who is looking to gain more experience in a specialised service.
  • The role is for 6 months from then you will return to the main house officer roster.
  • Hospital small enough to give you hands-on specialist-led experience yet big enough to learn through an internationally renowned research partnership your career opportunities are limitless.
  • You will be exposed to several medical situations that will equip you well for future training Registrar roles.
  • The Urology House Officer role is one that supports and works closely with the three consultants registrar and nurse specialist to deliver positive outcomes for Southland patients.
  • We cover the gamut urological procedures both inpatients and outpatients covering a geographic area from Queenstown to Stewart Island from Southland Hospital.

  • Working in a close-knit team you will have excellent access to your Registrar and Consultants and unrivalled opportunities to experience many of the varied urology presentations to the hospital.
