The Regulatory Affairs Specialist supports the Regulatory Affairs Manager to build and keep the regulatory framework that enables compliance within EMEA markets.
This role requires cross-functional collaboration and support to all Lamb Weston (LW) activities related to Regulatory Affairs such as monitoring of changes in regulations and market entry information regarding food and feed safety packaging nutrition & health. Part of the support will be related to compliance activities. You will be working in Breda and become part of the Quality this role you report to the Regulatory Affairs Manager. This is a full time role.
What you will do
- Be accountable for enabling and ensuring regulatory compliance in food and safety nutrition and health for all products produced by LW supporting RA Manager in setting regulatory standards for EMEA countries and translate them into processes and functional requirements
- Be the Regulatory Affairs to-go expert during cross-functional projects and advice the business on Product formulation/additives allowance/packaging/claims compliance matters
- Create customized RA communication trainings to keep the business informed about upcoming regulatory changes
- Monitor identify emerging regulatory risks assess them internally in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and report to enable sound decision making
- Provide guidance and support to the internal stakeholders on all regulatory matters in connection with LW business activities such as sales and operations
What do you bring to the table
- Master degree in Nutrition / Food Science / Food Regulatory Sciences or similar;
- 3-5 years of professional experience in international (food or agri) companies preferably FMCG;
- Proven track record of building collaborative cross-functional business relationships;
- Experience in dealing with international food policy matters as well as in ingredients/products compliance assessment;
- Strong interest in learning and deep dive into broaden regulatory topics
- Fluent in English both spoken and written secondary languages such as Dutch and Arabic are an asset
