At Databricks we are on a mission to empower our customers to solve the worlds toughest data problems by utilizing the Lakehouse platform. As a Lead Scale Solution Engineer you will play a critical role during this customer journey. You will directly work with customers to help them onboard and deploy Databricks in a production environment. You will report to the Sr. Manager Technical Services
The impact you will have
- You will be part of a team responsible for onboarding new customers to the Databricks Data Intelligence platform as well as assisting existing customers to deploy new use cases on the platform.
- You will become an expert on the Databricks Data Intelligence platform and guide customers to make the best technical decisions to achieve their goals
- You will actively work across multiple customer onboarding and track and report on their progress.
- You will contribute to the maintenance and evolution of our catalog of services
- You will mentor new joiners to accelerate their onboarding process.
- You will collaborate with hiring managers in the interview process to conduct interviews
What we look for
- Extensive experience in a customer-facing technical role in pre-sales professional services consulting or customer success.
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Data Engineering technologies (e.g. Spark Hadoop Kafka)
- Data Science and Machine Learning technologies (e.g. pandas scikit-learn HPO)
- Data Warehousing (e.g. SQL OLTP/OLAP/DSS)
- Knowledge of at least 1 public cloud platform AWS Azure or GCP
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end data analytics architecture and workflow.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills Nice to have: Databricks Certification
- Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science Information Systems or relevant experience
- Fluent French and English
