Development Manager for Spray Dried Amorphous Solid Dispersions (m/f/d)
for the site Killorglin Ireland

Your key responsibilities
Development and implementation of innovative drug delivery platforms for spray-dried amorphous solid dispersions (SDASDs) for poorly soluble compounds.
Cross-functional coordination of all implementation activities.
Lead and coordinate the design and implementation of development standards for SDASDs.
Design development and optimisation of SDASD formulations for poorly soluble compounds utilising expertise in spray drying technology.
Manage drug development projects including timeline milestone and budget management.
Work closely with cross-functional teams in the Aenova group including analytical development integration of the manufacture of SDASD and downstream processing within the group portfolio.
Provide support and technical guidance to the formulation team including troubleshooting and implementing innovative solutions.
Follow and evaluate emerging development trends and advancements in SDASD technology and drug delivery.
Your profile
PhD or MSc degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences Chemistry Chemical Engineering or related field.
Experience in pharmaceutical formulation development with a focus on amorphous solid dispersion.
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing drug development projects.
Strong understanding of spray drying principles solid-state characterization techniques and formulation optimization strategies.
Excellent project management skills.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across interdisciplinary teams
