Are you someone who enjoys diving into numbers loves Excel and has a knack for turning data into smart business decisions Then we might have just the role for you!
In this role the ability to visualize data and clearly communicate key insights is just as important as your analytical skills. We often use PowerPoint to translate numbers into compelling business narratives so strong presentation skills are a must.
Were on the lookout for a new colleague to join our Strategic Pricing team the Center of Excellence (CoE) for price management at VELUX. Were a passionate group driving pricing strategy and execution across our markets and now we need a strong structured and commercially minded Price Analyst to help us take things to the next level.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Help formulate and implement global pricing strategies that sustains profitability and support growth while paying attention to complex effects from price positioning
- Provide pricing guidance for key products based onValue Based Pricing principles
- Build and maintain smart scalable pricing models calculators and tools to support product launches and pricing updates.
- Partner with teams across Sales Finance Product and Marketing to ensure pricing strategies are understood and executed consistently.
- Track performance and analyze pricing effectiveness using tools like price waterfall margin-volume analysis and key KPIs.
- Maintain accurate pricing master data and support the rollout of annual price changes.
- Assist markets in developing local trade in terms of improvements in line with commercial strategies and legal guidelines and guide them through the approval process.
- Offer basic legal support to local teams on pricing campaigns and trade termsespecially in markets where VELUX holds a strong leading market position.
- Drive continuous improvement in how we manage pricingfinding smarter faster more customer-focused ways to work.
What You Bring
Were looking for someone whos not just great with numbers but also has a bigger business picture. You should have:
- A strong command of Excel and comfort working with large data sets.
- Solid skills in math and numeric analysis.
- An intuitive grasp of value price positioning and what percentages mean in a real-world context.
- Excellent communication skills and super user of Power Point to convey and visualize complex topics and data in a convincing manner.
- A commercial mindsetyou understand how businesses operate and what drives profit.
- A structured analytical approach to work with excellent attention to detail.
- 35 years of relevant experience in a pricing finance or commercial role.
- Experience with tools like Power BI is a bonus.
