This Position reports to:
Finance ManagerIn this role youll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
Acts as a business partner to the relevant business manager and leads local finance teams to optimize the financialperformance within ELDS Primary Switchgear and CNDMX. Supports in effective business decisions by monitoringanalyzing and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend the mostappropriate business solutions.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Contributes to the definition of strategy for the business unit to drive growth of with relevant business leader and global BL controller in determining strategy for their area of responsibilityand developing implementation and monitoring plan.
Enables strategy translation into business plans and monitors measurable targets. Drives business planning and forecasting process for their area of responsibility.
Leads cross-functional initiatives that support strategic goals. Drives the definition and implementation of global standards and business specific guidelines to ensure continuousimprovement in financial control process within their area of responsibility. Leads provides guidance and participates or facilitates best practices to ensure alignment and consistency of
controlling practices.
Ensures timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues forimprovement of operations work quality and efficiency for their area of responsibility. Ensures transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Defines and implements internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations. Assesses business risk exposure and defines risk mitigation strategies to reduce impact on business performance. Identifies and communicates financial risks and opportunities from business propositions. Establishes and drives processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information. Ensures high quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards and financial closingschedules.
