Position Summary
The staff registered nurse is responsible for implementing directing communicating and documenting the nursing process and provides a safe environment for patients visitors and employees
Job Responsibilities
- Documents a physical assessment of patient.
- Communicates with patients families and/or significant others in an effort to individualize patients plan of care to them.
- Verifies that physician orders are transcribed properly and carried out properly.
Education/Experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed as a professional nurse by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
- A BSN degree is desirable.
- Successful completion of the Community Healthcare Systems Personnel and Nursing Orientation Programs.
- Obtains and maintains current certification in BLS and other certifications as required in specialty areas.
