Your New Role:


The AR Analyst will focus on supporting the Global Order to Cash Studios businesses by managing our Accounts Receivable with a strong emphasis on fulfilling internal and external audit requirements. This position will handle accounts receivable data in a high-volume team-oriented environment managing multiple invoices and titles while ensuring compliance with corporate accounts receivable credit policies and audit standards.

In addition to standard AR responsibilitiessuch as analyzing accounts retrieving documentation preparing reconciliations and providing insights on receivable datathe AR Analyst will play a key role in responding to audit requests. This includes gathering validating and organizing supporting documentation preparing evidence and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information provided to auditors.

The role will involve close collaboration with internal stakeholders across the order-to-cash cycle finance and compliance to secure the required data and meet audit deadlines. Analysts will maintain thorough records of evidence supplied document responses and track the status of all audit-related requests while continuing to support day-to-day AR processes.

Strong attention to detail organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively are essential to both maintain healthy AR operations and deliver high-quality timely responses to audit inquiries. The AR Analyst will contribute to safeguarding data integrity supporting compliance efforts and upholding Warner Bros. Discoverys commitment to operational excellence.

Your Role Accountabilities:

Manage assigned customer portfolios by analyzing resolving all variances and compiling a list of necessary adjustments with backup documentation. Support collections process in such a way to help meet or exceed established monthly and yearly collection goals through timely invoice resolution and directing cash applications. Communicate discrepancies and coordinates any corrections needed with internal teams. Provide updates to senior leadership on payments. Communicate complex issues and effectively handle difficult customer invoicing requests to maximize productivity payment resolution and effectiveness.

Identify and facilitate resolution with customers for non-payment and providing guidance on complex issues for problem resolution including short-pay credits and open invoices. Follow up with customers regarding past-due payments. Assist with incoming customer payment allocation requests. Process and reconcile account receivables and remittances. Ensure that collections targets are met or exceeded monthly. Preparing the statement of accounts for customers and regularly following up for payments. Build effective global working relationships with internal and external clients including BPOs.

Maintain accurate contact information and customer-specific instructions for accounts in the portfolio and assist with invoice delivery as needed. Initiate customer refund requests and follow up on remittances ensuring a clear understanding of adjustments in payments such as withholding tax and foreign exchange differences. Create and analyze AR aging reports addressing payment issues like double payments or other discrepancies.

Proactively identify and facilitate improvements in the A/R processes through technology or procedural enhancements with a particular focus on strengthening documentation practices to meet compliance and audit requirements. Maintain organized complete and auditable records to support both internal and external audit reviews ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit inquiries while continuing to support day-to-day AR operations.

Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Fluent in English
  • 1 to 3 years experience in Account Receivables reconciliations/Collections
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or related field is preferred
  • Quick problem solver team player good time management skills
  • Excellent listening oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in SAP ERP preferred
  • Great organizational and interpersonal skills
  • High level of analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Complete understanding of the Order to Cash process
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook Word Powerpoint)
  • Ability to work independently creatively and efficiently
  • Proven track record in meeting deadlines

Not Required but preferred experience:

  • Experience in the Media Industry and/or Media Sales is preferred
