We are seeking a Lean Leader APM Terminals Business System (ABS) Academy to support the design development and expansion of our Lean-based business this key role you will support the execution of our ABS Academy strategy by managing learning programs developing content coordinating deployment frameworks and engaging with stakeholders across the organization. Youll help build a culture where every employee becomes a Lean practitioner and leaders are equipped to lead with Lean principles.

You will contribute to the operationalization of our holistic Lean business system encompassing principles standards methods tools and deployment frameworks alongside impactful Lean Leadership coaching programs. Your work will embed Lean Thinking into our corporate DNA and create a sustainable system that delivers lasting business impact.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing modern learning programs improving and operationalizing Lean -depth knowledge of the Danaher Business System or similar systems is highly APMT Business System is integral to our daily operations reflecting our continuous commitment to investing in our employees development leveraging all minds within the organization and embedding Lean Thinking into our corporate DNA and culture. Location: The Hague Netherlands (Travel might be required up to 25 %)

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the development and delivery of ABS Academy learning programs across various organizational levels.

Support the creation of training content toolkits and digital learning assets aligned as part of the APM Terminals Business System.

Coordinate deployment activities and ensure alignment with strategic goals and operational needs.

Facilitate workshops training sessions and coaching engagements to build Lean competencies.

Develop and maintain a global ABS repository to centralize learning materials tools and success stories.

Execute the ABS communication plan and Lean community program to foster engagement visibility and knowledge exchange across the organization.

Monitor program effectiveness through feedback loops and performance metrics; recommend improvements.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent application of Lean principles across functions and geographies.

Contribute to best practice sharing and knowledge management across the ABS network.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Well-founded in Lean Operational Excellence and Learning & Development roles.

• Deep practical knowledge of Lean tools and systems (e.g. Problem Solving Kaizen Daily Management & Visual Management VSM TPI Standard Work 5S VOC Hoshin Kanri Growth Tools etc.).

• Experience in designing and delivering training programs ideally in a global or cross-functional context.

• Strong facilitation and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to measure learning impact and drive improvements.

• Collaborative and proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement.

• Commitment to strictly ethical conduct ensuring integrity.

• Self-motivated and always strive for excellence and exceeding expectations.

• Lean certifications or exposure to systems like Danaher Business System are desirable.

REPORTING AND SCOPE:

• The reporting line will be to the Head of APM Terminals Business System Academy

• This role will support the global ABS Academy developing Lean capabilities across APM Terminals.
