This Position reports to:
Operations ManagerYour role and responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for purchasing materials in line with technical specifications pricing delivery schedules and terms. You will ensure that all purchasing activities comply with ABBs corporate policies and procedures. Additionally you will contribute by identifying new suppliers in collaboration with the relevant category team.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Robotics Business Unit in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiating purchase orders in the system based on requisitions in alignment with standard procedures. Confirming deliveries with suppliers and monitoring their performance against PO requirements.
- Negotiating agreements with key suppliers and periodically updating price lists and terms and conditions.
- Recommending frame agreements to management and executing them upon approval.
- Analyzing and evaluating supplier bids to determine the best value.
What it takes to Run what runs the world:
- 3 years of experiencein purchasing materials for industrial projects. Experience in theautomotive and/or consumer goods industriesis a plus.
- Strong background innegotiationsPO managementmaterial tracking andinvoice handling.
- Willingness to travel. A validpassport and visaare desirable.
- Advanced Englishproficiency.
- Experience withSAPis a plus.
- Bachelors degreecompleted.
