Montelucia Resort and Spa
Nestled at the foot of the picturesque Camelback Mountain in the exclusive enclave of Paradise Valley the Montelucia Resort & Spa features 253 luxurious guestrooms 38 suites and two presidential suites. The propertys distinctive architecture is inspired by the rich history white-washed villages and sun-drenched hills of Spains Andalusia region. The property also includes the award-winning Moroccan inspired Joya Spa three resort pools and five dining options including the critically acclaimed restaurant Prado. The resort which is adjacent to the cities of Phoenix and Scottsdale offers easy access to golf recreation nightlife and entertainment.
Plan organize and service social and corporate catering functions for the resort and ensure maximization of room and meeting space revenues and profits while delivering a quality product. Focus on execution of all aspects of event planning including coordination from the signing of a group contract forward VIP needs amenities group resumes. Assisting in completion of BEOs.
Reviews catering contract turnovers for accuracy and new file preparation
Work closely with the Sales Managers to ensure client satisfaction
Checks function diary to ensure proper space has been assigned
Provides hotel site inspections and client presentations when necessary
Entertains clients to establish closer working relations when appropriate
Responsible for prompt handling (within the business day) of inquiry calls and monitoring the efficient flow of paperwork relative to confirming function details to the client
Details social and corporate catering functions in Delphi fdc
Have acquired knowledge with the ability to upsell clients while promoting a level of service parallel to the luxury stature of the resort
Ability to produce quality innovative menus while working closely with the Executive Chef on pricing specialty menus
Coordinate Catering support services (flowers entertainment decoration A/V etc.) to provide complete client satisfaction.
Creates estimate for accounting of expenditures
Conducts final planning meetings prior to events when necessary
Work closely with banquet department on operations and event execution ability to consistently deliver flawless events
Prepare resumes for groups when needed communicating function-arrangement to all responsible hotel departments
Provide overall direction coordination and ongoing evaluation of operations. Detailed execution of all banquet event orders
During the event will ensure the meeting arrangements are to specifications
On conclusion of event review final bill and evaluation with meeting planner/client
Provide effective follow up communication to ensure repeat bookings
Other duties as assigned by Director of Catering and Conference Services.
