Job Description

To meet an exciting future we are looking for a highly motivated and determined Sales & Customer Relationship Manager to be responsible for a dedicated portfolio of our customers in Norway and Iceland. You will join an experienced team in the Global Customer Support division in Kongsberg Maritime and be a strong contributor to maximizing our sales potential.

In the role as Sales & Customer Relationship Manager you should be collaborative and show excellent communication skills. You will work with stakeholders in the organization to support our customers in the best way possible being both relationship-oriented and proactive. You should have experience working closely with customers demonstrate a strong technical understanding and possess a willingness to find the best solutions for our this role you will be given flexibility and responsibility.

Please note that applicants will be evaluated on an ongoing basis. This being said due to the Norwegian summer vacation period candidates may also be reached out to after this time (August and onwards).

Key Accountabilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management for a dedicated customer portfolio in Norway and Iceland including:
  • Aftermarket Sales of all Kongsberg Maritimes products in close cooperation with the different Product Sales Teams
  • Maintenance planning with customers
  • Frame Agreements
  • Develop sales plans and pipeline
  • Drive profitable aftermarket sales growth
  • Customer relationship responsibility and key contact person from Aftermarket sales and services
  • Contribute to budget and order intake
  • Follow and contribute to continuous improvements in Aftermarket Sales processes

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant technical background preferably from the maritime industry
  • Extensive experience communicating with internal and external customers
  • Verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
  • Willingness to travel as required

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
