About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Finance Manager to oversee our companys financial operations ensure compliance and provide insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge leadership skills and a track record of delivering accurate and timely financial results.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards (Ind AS).
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely closure of books of accounts.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with various departments.
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and highlight variances with actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements (GST TDS Income Tax ROC filings etc.).
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors and ensure the timely completion of audits.
- Manage daily cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Optimize fund utilization and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Prior work e.g. with Big4 preferred.
- Prior working experience with Ind AS financial and audit closing with Big 4 auditors.
- Up to 7 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills. Prior work e.g. with Big4.
- Working exposure with Ind AS accounting and reporting
