Job Purpose
The Junior Researcher is responsible for monitoring researching and analyzing upcoming projects across the Construction Oil Power Energy Infrastructure and Industrial sectors. The role involves maintaining an accurate and comprehensive project database to support lead generation market intelligence.
Main Activities
1. Market Monitoring
- Proactively track and review news sources industry publications government portals company websites social media etc. to identify new project opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of key market drivers regulations and information sources in the target sectors.
2. Primary Research
- Engage directly with project stakeholders including developers consultants contractors government representatives suppliers and investors to gather first-hand information.
- Prepare detailed project profiles capturing scope timelines budgets status and key decision-makers.
3. Database Management
- Regularly update and maintain the central project database ensuring data accuracy completeness and ease of access.
- Monitor and maintain up-to-date information on all projects within assigned countries or sectors.
- Adhere to and propose enhancements for data classification and tagging systems to improve searchability and analysis.
- Ensure that all updates are completed within stipulated deadlines.
- Adhere to KPIs provided by Line Manager.
4. Communication & Collaboration
- Build and maintain productive relationships with project stakeholders in the relevant industries.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure research output aligns with business needs.
Job Requirements
- Any Bachelors degree preferably Bachelors degree in business Engineering Literature or a related field
- Self-motivated proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in market research business intelligence or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
