2025-26 Season
Summary:
Esports is a team in which students will meet and participate in appropriate games on several types of electronic devises in groups to compete against other schools. It is open to all students to come and play togetherin a safe and relaxing environment. The advisor would be in charge of administering and planning out the season for 2024-2025. Their responsibility for practices will be for fall and spring seasons as it runs for the school calendar year but doesnt compete during the winter months of November to March.
Duties/Skills/Qualifications:
Coaching experience preferred;
Knowledge of coaching strategies and methods;
Ability to instruct and lead student athletes in the fundamental skills and strategies necessary for individual and team success;
Knowledge of and use of a variety of motivational techniques and serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through instruction and actions;
Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely;
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with student athletes;
Ability to relate and work effectively with parents staff students and the public in a multicultural and multiracial community;
Knowledge and awareness of own cultural identity and how this influences behavior and desire to learn about the cultural identity of others;
Ability to establish and nurture an environment that promotes cultural competence and equitable treatment of staff students and patrons of the District;
Ability to recognize that each person is a unique individual even as we celebrate their group cultural heritage;
