A leading regional fintech company is seeking a Founding AI Engineer to help design and build next-generation intelligent systems from fraud detection and risk modeling to hyper-personalized financial services that improve accessibility for millions of users.
This is a permanent role based in Thailand working closely with regional teams. Youll collaborate directly with senior AI leadership contribute hands-on to production systems and play a founding role in shaping AI initiatives with visible impact at scale.

What Youll Do
- Design build and deploy machine learning models for high-impact use cases.
- Contribute to model architecture data pipeline design and deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with product engineering and data teams to deliver AI initiatives.
- Own the ML lifecycle: preprocessing training evaluation and production monitoring.
- Write clean scalable and well-documented code.
- Participate in technical reviews and knowledge-sharing discussions.
- Stay current with AI/ML advancements and suggest improvements to workflows.

Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 3-6 years of AI/ML engineering experience with production deployments.
- Strong proficiency in Python (must-have).
- Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow PyTorch Scikit-learn).
- Solid understanding of end-to-end ML workflows.
- Applied experience in AI use cases such as recommendation fraud detection risk modeling or NLP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Thai Citizenship with ability to work hybrid from Thailand while collaborating regionally.
Nice to Have
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow Airflow Docker cloud platforms).
- Knowledge of responsible AI practices (fairness interpretability governance).
- Startup or scale-up experience.
- Interest in building reusable ML tools or internal components.
