Location/s: Singapore

Mott MacDonald Singapore is currently recruiting aStructural Engineer (Graduate)to work in our Building Structures team. Within this role you will support the detailed design of civil & structural engineering and calculations technical reporting and support engineering tasks across a wide range of award-winning building projects. These projects include Changi Airport Terminal 5 civic and institutional projects commercial and mixed-use developments. We are dedicated to delivering large infrastructure projects to make a positive change for those who need it most.

As part of the role key responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare outline and carry out detailed design of civil and structural engineering designs and calculations.
  • Prepare method statement and engineering proposal
  • Attend meetings with clients contractors and authority organisations.
  • Visiting construction sites to carry out site inspection and site supervision
  • Coordinate with various parties (team members clients government authorities) on design and stakeholder interface.
  • Liaising and working together within the project team of engineers and drafters
  • Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor


About You:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Strong interest and passion in pursuing structural design engineering in a consultancy environment.
  • A digital aptitude strong learning mindset and interest to commit to driving social and sustainable outcomes in all that we do.
  • Collaborative open and constructive approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • A team player who is enthusiastic driven and committed.
