To excel as the LuminAir Event & Sales Manager we are seeking a motivated proactive and client-focused professional passionate about delivering exceptional event experiences. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attitudes:

  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities with proven experience managing events and client relationships

  • A proactive and positive attitude driving initiative and creativity in delivering exceptional client experiences.

  • Excellent communication skills in English & Dutch both verbal and written; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve business goals and enhance event success.

  • Experience in client-focused roles with attention to detail and adaptability to diverse customer needs.

Our hotel offers the award-winning rooftop bar LuminAir the vibrant new WE ARE EDN restaurant and bar Amsterdams most extensive breakfast buffet and an in-house LOT61 coffee store. Who are we looking for / What will you be doing
Join our fantastic team as our newLuminAir Event & Sales Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual eager to play a key role in a newly refurbished hotel and an award-winning rooftop bar. Join us in inspiring clients to create unforgettable events filled with creativity and imagination.


This position includes the following main tasks:

  • Continuously research and uncover new networking opportunities that align with the hotels strategic goals and target markets.

  • Proactively identify attend and engage in relevant networking events to build and maintain strong relationships that drive business growth for the hotel.

  • Act as a visible and influential representative of the hotel within the local market cultivating strong connections with top clients event planners and key stakeholders throughout Amsterdam.

  • Serve as a pillar of the community by fostering lasting relationships that position the hotel as a preferred venue for social and corporate events.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to maximize event attendance and drive incremental revenue through targeted initiatives.

  • Proactively responsible for identifying new business opportunities and generating leads through online research visiting potential clients and uncovering new revenue streams.
