Job Description
Maintenance Full Time
Were hiring a Maintenance Worker for Oasis Club at Championsgate. At Troon we believe our Associates are our greatest strength and competitive advantage. Responsibilities
- Prepares soil for planting beds and lawn areas
- Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers weed trimmers and utility vehicles
- Plants trees shrubs turf grass and flowers
- Prunes and trims trees and shrubs
- Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup
- Maintains landscape through application of mulch water fertilizer and grooming
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Performs other duties as required
Education and Experience Requirements
- Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)
- 7 years experience in resort/ hotel maintenance engineering facilities
- Ability to complete painting plumbing and other repairs.
Working Conditions
- Frequently uses hands
- Regularly stands walks sits climbs balances stoops kneels crouches and crawls
- Frequently lifts moves and carries up to 50 pounds; to push or pull up to 100 pounds
- Regularly exposed to hot and/or humid conditions toxic or caustic chemicals moving mechanical parts compact spaces hot attic temperatures and outside weather conditions
- Noise level is moderate
