The Role
Were seeking a meticulous and analytical Laboratory Technician to support the smooth running of our laboratories by performing a range of analytical tests across our product range (new and existing) and providing technical services ranging from method transfer validation and method developments to lab investigations and cleaning validation all in-line with company and industry GxP this varied role youll have the opportunity to support our R&D projects (e.g. product line extensions or developments) working across our raw material testing intermediate product testing trial batch production stability testing and finished product testing utilising a range of analytical techniques including HPLC dissolution and UV spectrometry. To maintain compliance youll regularly complete lab notebooks necessary documentation and LIMS system in-line with GLP and GMP requirements. Perform a variety of Laboratory testing and validate method transfers for required products and support product transfer activities (in or out of site) with analytical method addition youll also have the opportunity to support our wider R&D project activity which includes EU product rollouts lab investigations and working across different treatment areas such as animal health.
The Person
Previous experience in a responsible Quality Control role with experience across a range of laboratory techniques; HPLC dissolution and UV spectrometry essential.
Knowledge of the requirements of ICH method validation.
Knowledge of a Chromatography Data Systems.
An understanding of different pharmaceutical dosage formats would be beneficial.
Experience in writing clear and concise reports.
Good understanding of GMP and GLP requirements.
Good IT skills (including Microsoft Office) able to learn new systems quickly.
Strong organisation skills able to manage multiple tasks to deadline and maintain a good eye for detail even in a fast-paced and changeable work environment.
Higher level science qualification desirable
