The Regional Business Director is responsible for the profit and loss of the LLS business unit in the APAC region. They lead the regional LLS team and cross-functional teams to define and execute business strategies enhance profitability drive sustainable growth and develop organisational capabilities and talent pipeline for LLS in the region.
Responsibilities:
Establish Revenue and Profitability Objectives: Set clear financial targets for various sectors within the region and execute global strategies to drive growth considering regional economic and competitive trends. Manage pricing and overall demand to optimize profitability.
Drive New Business Development: Lead initiatives in open innovation regional partnerships and local-for-local strategies to enhance market presence. Focus on new product sales to drive innovation and maintain market leadership. Support ongoing M&A activities and assist with integrating acquisitions for seamless transition.
Develop Regional Growth Strategies: Formulate and lead comprehensive growth plans coordinating with sales marketing and technical teams to achieve targeted outcomes. Collaborate with other functions and the plant to build regional R&D and manufacturing capabilities ensuring operational excellence.
Foster Stakeholder Communication: Cultivate effective communication channels with stakeholders ensuring global team support for regional strategies. Promote a culture of accountability and uphold company core values within the regional team.
Build and Develop Organizational Capabilities: Recruit develop and retain top talent to create a high-performing motivated and passionate team. Continuously build manage and enhance the regional organization to ensure competitiveness in organizational capabilities. Set goals and KPIs taking corrective actions as necessary.
Optimize Regional Distribution Channels: Administer and develop regional distribution channels to maximize resource utilization. Ensure seamless service to customers build strong relationships with key customers and external influencers and provide comprehensive marketing and technical support for both new and existing portfolios.
