The Role
Mach Industries is seeking a VP of Brand Strategy to define shape and deliver the companys story. This leader will oversee all external marketing branding and positioning while ensuring alignment across internal messaging. Reporting directly to the CEO this role entails high visibility broad scope and extreme agency. Long hours frequent travel and demanding sprints are to be expected. Success will require both the ability to formulate Machs evolving narrative in real time and the skill to deliver it effectively across multiple audiences from employees to investors policymakers and the broader public.
Key Responsibilities
Develop longform content for multiple purposes including archival documentation weekly company updates investor messaging and strategic focus pieces.
Consolidate and deliver monthly investor updates.
Design and execute marketing and brand strategies including major PR and campaign pushes.
Manage and grow Machs social media presence to position the company strategically with outsized impact.
Represent the company in media and investor engagements including interviews and events.
Partner with leadership to align marketing with company priorities and milestones.
Required Qualifications
Strong business and startup acumen; thrives in fast-paced high-growth environments.
A technical or engineering background with the ability to understand and explain defense technologies.
Proven experience in company building with a track record of scaling narratives alongside business growth.
Exceptional storytelling and writing ability capable of crafting compelling narratives across audiences and formats.
Demonstrated success in driving social media growth with measurable impact.
Creative and adaptable with the ability to chart new narrative directions and campaign strategies.
Comfortable with travel high-intensity work and demanding campaign cycles.
Ability to execute on full projects autonomously and independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading communications branding or marketing at a high-growth startup or tech company.
Creativity in shaping new narratives branding directions and media campaigns.
Prior success in high-pressure environments that require balancing strategic vision with tactical execution.
Background in both narrative definition (shaping what the company is and should be) and communication (effectively telling that story).

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and training critical skills and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most offers and are considered part of Machs total compensation package.
