Schedule: Weekends Off
Salary: $780 - $1125 per week
Work Type: In-person (strictly on-site)
Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team! This position is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those looking to start their career in the events industry. As an Entry Level Events Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of various events ranging from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences and social gatherings.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of various events including corporate functions social gatherings and conferences.
- Support event logistics including venue selection catering arrangements and audio-visual setup.
- Help with the creation and distribution of event marketing materials such as invitations and brochures.
- Maintain accurate records of events including budgets attendee lists and vendor contracts.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and clients to ensure all event needs are met.
- Set up and break down event spaces ensuring compliance with safety regulations and service standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Event Planning Marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with event management software or tools is a plus.
