Job Description
NOW HIRING: Warehouse Associates in Grapevine TX.
Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange (GRACE) has openings for Warehouse Associates at our Grapevine Resale Store and Donation Station.
Ideal Candidates:
- Previous warehouse production or moving experience
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
- Non-CDL box truck experience is preferred - non-driving positions available also.
- Must be comfortable working in various temperatures both inside and outside.
What youll do:
- Unload donations then sort organize price and tag.
- Stock the store with furniture and merchandise display items for sale (Resale Location)
- Load company trucks and vendor trucks with merchandise (Warehouse Location)
- Keep the warehouse and stockroom area clean and organized for safety.
- Drive company box truck to pickup furniture and delivery to resale locations (if driver) non-drivers will ride along to assist with loading and unloading.
- Assist customers with questions merchandise and transactions.
NOTE: This is a summary of the duties and not a full list. Individual job descriptions will be provided upon hire as well as discussed during the interview process.
What well offer:
- Schedules are Tuesday-Saturday; Sunday and Monday off to reset.
- Warehouse is 8 am - 5 pm; Store is 10 am - 7 pm.
- Non-Drivers - $15.00/hour
- Drivers - $16.00/hour
- Full time positions benefits available after 60 days.
- Sick Vacation Personal Time Holiday Pay.
Qualifications:
- Drivers must be 21 years or older for insurance bonding and have a valid driver license car insurance and have a clean Motor Vehicle Report.
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- 6 months experience (non-driving); one year experience (driving).
- Saturdays are required.
- Experience with nonprofits donation intake or thrift background is a plus!
