Our client is a global auto parts manufacturer.
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the efficient and accurate receipt storage and shipment of goods within the warehouse. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and maintaining a well-organized and safe warehouse environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing warehouse operations for inbound and outbound processes.
- Receiving incoming shipments of goods verifying accuracy and quantity against purchase orders.
- Conducting thorough inspections of incoming goods for any damage or discrepancies.
- Ensuring the correct flow of materials and related information from entry into the warehouse to delivery to production departments and/or customers.
- Accurately storing and organizing inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or other inventory tracking software.
- Conducting cycle counts and physical inventory checks as required.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse operations distribution and transportation management in an automotive parts manufacturing environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good command of English communication.
