Job Description

Position: Marketing & Communications Intern

Department: Marketing & Communications

Location: Bangkok Thailand

Eligibility: Global

Reports To: Marketing & Communications Manager

Preferred Start Date: Immediate (As soon as possible)

Contract Term: 1-6 month term with potential for extension

OUR VISION FOR THIS ROLE:


The Marketing & Communications Intern at JUMP! Foundation will play a pivotal role in conveying our mission to inspire empower and engage young people. This role is ideal for a proactive articulate individual with a flair for creative communication. You will support external communications and marketing efforts focusing on content creation social media strategy website management market research and multimedia management. Your work will be crucial in promoting JUMP! Programs engaging diverse audiences and raising awareness of our impact on youth and communities.


WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE:


Content Creation & Management:


  • Developing and curating compelling content for websites blogs and other digital platforms.
  • Crafting visual content and designs for marketing materials like brochures and social media posts.
  • Producing content that effectively communicates JUMP!s vision mission and values.


Social Media Strategy & Execution:


  • Assisting in the development and implementation of social media strategies to increase following and engagement.
  • Regularly updating and managing JUMP!s social media channels with fresh and relevant content.
  • Analyzing social media trends and audience preferences to optimize content strategy.


Website Management & Digital Presence:


  • Supporting updates and enhancements to JUMP!s website.
  • Ensuring website content is current engaging and aligns with our messaging.
  • Collaborating on SEO strategies and tracking website analytics.


Market Research & Audience Engagement:


  • Conducting research on target audiences including international schools and educators.
  • Analyzing competitor strategies and market trends.
  • Utilizing research insights to inform and refine marketing and communication strategies.


Multimedia Management & Campaign Support:


  • Managing and editing photos videos and other multimedia content.
  • Supporting various marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Creating a portfolio of branded materials for team use.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:


  • Experience or strong interest in Digital Marketing Social Media Management and Graphic Design.
  • Currently pursuing or holding a University Degree in Marketing Communications Journalism or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Canva Mailchimp video editing software WordPress and Google Suite.
  • Familiarity with photography and videography is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal skills in Thai and English.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in social media platforms.
