Job Description

Centre for Advanced Robotics Technology Innovation (CARTIN) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Fellow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out literature research on STOA of mission decomposition.

  • Develop an efficient modeling framework that can capture a variety of operational requirements and uncertain operational environment.

  • Develop an efficient mission analysis and decomposition method.

  • Apply the developed modeling and decomposition methods in a simulation testbed.

  • Publish research results in reputable journals and conferences (in particular ICRA).

  • Assist project PI to coach research students.

Job Requirements:

  • PhD degree in relevant fields with past research foci on formal methods modeling and analysis of complex operations under uncertain environment.

  • Strong publication record in relevant fields.

  • Knowledge in modeling simulation and analysis of sea operations is a plus.

  • Proficiency in English is essential to conduct research.
