For our expanding Kongsberg Discovery team in The Netherlands we are looking for a Service Engineer.
As aService Engineeryou are the first in line when it comes to representing the service organization from Kongsberg Discovery to our local customers. To further strengthen our team we are looking for a Service Engineer to join our Service Delivery team in Spijkenisse The Netherlands.
Working as a Service Engineer you will carry out installation test and commissioning activities of Kongsberg Discovery equipment on our customers vessels at shipyards and in office. You will perform services and maintenance on sailing ships with our equipment as well as in-house technical support for our customers. If you have technical qualifications in hydrographic or any other relevant systems or you have gathered equivalent work experience then you have the competence we need.

Kongsberg Maritime Netherlands BV is a subsidiary of Kongsberg Maritime AS with an office with around 80 employees based in Spijkenisse. We work in Sales Aftermarket Sales and Customer Support and cover the Kongsberg Maritime and Kongsberg Discovery product range.

Key accountabilities
- Installation testing and commissioning of Subsea Hydrographic and Seatex products
- Technical on-call service and assistance locally
- Technical assistance with delivery projects and sales/after sales
- Training for customers
- Supervision and on-board operational assistance
- Documentation and reporting

Qualifications
- A degree e.g. Electro/Hydrography/Subsea systems. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of education
- Interest in hydrographic and subsea software and products
- Good knowledge of computer & network systems / data communication
- Proficient written and oral skills in Dutch and English
