Each of these Business Lines (BL) has a procurement department which is responsible for strategic procurement and Supplier Development & Quality (SDQ). The BL procurement departments focus on direct materials whilst indirect goods and materials are procured by the Global Indirect procurement team and therefore are not a part of the scope of this position.
This role of Procurement Manager sits within the Brachy and Neuro BL procurement departments. As a Procurement Manager in the Brachy and Neuro BLs you actively participate in the strategic sourcing activities for the commodities in your portfolio with the goal of setting up a strategy which could include looking for supplier consolidation dual sourcing or achieving significant cost reductions while maintaining/improving product quality and supplier service levels.
You work closely with local key business stakeholders to develop sustainable sourcing strategies and implementation plans. Furthermore you work together with international colleagues of other Elekta entities when it comes to e.g. the P2P process and in projects aimed at aligning/improving upon global processes systems and templates.
You will lead the development and execution of local sourcing strategies for allocated commodities taking due account of stakeholder mapping spend analysis understanding of current and future demands supplier improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
