Job Description In this role you will own developing plans and executing on initiatives that will support excellent inventory management for the expansion of perishable products throughout the Amazon network. We are looking for individuals to dedicate themselves to identifying creating developing and integrating innovative solutions and programs that lead to improvements in the way we manage perishable selection in the retail business. Perishable selection requires more complexity than other product families e.g. temp control in both storage and delivery short shelf life and shrink. Additionally you will be responsible for improving customer convenience and satisfaction pursuing efficient operations tailored to the specific characteristics of refrigerated and frozen products. To achieve these goals you will analyze supply chain opportunities inventory status develop procurement plans improve operations and work with tech teams to optimize and scale perishable selection. The candidate will be working independently for the assigned areas of responsibility with manager guidance and support when necessary. Job Detail Launch program management this role will act in an ambiguous space building the roadmap to optimize site launches and supply chain scalability. Shaping the future of perishable selection at Amazon. Product and Systems launch as part of our three year plans we will launch a number of new buying and inventory placement tech tools. This role will work closely with international product teams to define a launch roadmap and ensure new tech meets Japans requirements. Best FC space utilization Work cross functionally with Vendor Management team and Operation team to build scalable and sustainable FC space utilization planning with regular review and improvement mechanism. This also includes new Fulfillment center and Distribution Center capacity planning. Forecasting and buying to keep the best availability for customers Work closely with S&OP PM to build the best optimized buying planning and execution for stable product availability for customers. Process improvement - Join projects around instock related matters. Learn and share best practices to improve operational excellence and process improvement. Stakeholders the role is part of the APAC Fresh In stock organization covering Singapore and Japan. This candidate will work closely with Japan Category In stock managers and vendor managers who directly manage vendor relationships to determine optimized inventory flow and buying patterns. Outside of the immediate team the candidate will work closely with operation and supply chain functions.
