The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities employs over 1900 staff and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications including power generation transmission and distribution oil chemical and gas industrial manufacturing semiconductor and data centers as well as building and transportation sectors. Nearly half of our white-collar workforce comprises employees in engineering and scientific fields. How youll make an impact
You will work with category manager to initiate supplier sourcing qualification and creation supplier performance evaluation set up and execute material purchase strategy in factory level as the input to tendering department and work cross-functionally with engineering operations sales services and quality to conduct supplier RFI RFP RFQ delivery and quality management.
You will prepare quotation/bidding and negotiation with potential suppliers implement contract process according to TOA manage and achieve supplier KPI target from supply chain management OTD/OQD/Cost Saving/Cost Avoidance/Payment Terms/Claiming etc.
You will focus on the market changes of key materials and update and share relevant data and information promptly.
You will deal with escalated and urgent supplier delivery/quality/service issues and other work assigned by manager.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background
Bachelors degree and above major in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred.
More than 2years of work experience in power transformer industry and in multi-national company preferred.
Be able to effectively collaborate with peers in other functions.
Good communication skills and ability to work across multiple functions drive action via the consensus with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent in Microsoft skills excel PPT Power BI etc. Sincerity and pioneering spirit as key values.
Proficiency in English language for both written/oral.
