Job Description

Group and Team: Communications Engagement & Marketing

Salary range:
$91138 per annum 13.5% superannuation.

About the role

The Community Engagement Officer supports meaningful engagement between the City of Hobart and its communities. You will help deliver consistent high-quality engagement across diverse projects ensuring community voices are heard and valued.

Role accountabilities include:

  • Represent the City at events and engagement activities
  • Advise project teams on planning and delivering effective engagement.
  • Promote inclusive participation through diverse engagement methods
  • Collaborate with Communications to raise awareness of engagement initiatives
  • Develop clear engaging content for plans reports andYour Say Hobart
  • Analyse engagement data and produce reports for the Council
  • Support the Senior Advisor in advancing best practice engagement.
