This position is responsible for planning coordination and monitoring the flow of goods and services from our suppliers both internal and external as well as managing all outsourcing activities. This person will also be responsible for leading and developing the US Procurement team.
Your Mission
Support the design of strategic and operational procurement strategy processes and guidelines the functional process ownership responsibilities include Procurement Logistics Production Planning Production Control Inventory Control and Supply Chain for the site.
Reduce supplier costs whilst working to eliminate expedite fees and optimizing packaging and freight costs.
Monitor Supplier Performance including on time delivery and quality metrics and take appropriate action on supplier poor performance.
Inventory Control responsibility including compliance auditing cycle counts and physical inventory.
Establish and maintain a systematic supplier management process to monitor key process indicators.
Manage planning and scheduling function within organization including short medium and long-range plan.
Development of short to long-term in make-or-buy studies including use of domestic or foreign suppliers
Support Swiss team in the procurement of investment goods
Participate on offers as part of the project capture teams
Supports the implementation maintenance and population of the MRP/ERP system to establish a single source for supply chain and procurement data
Ensure compliance to regulatory and corporate requirements
Lead and develop the team in accordance with the company values as well as business strategy and goals
Lead and develop the team to create high engagement good work environment and positive team spirit
Develop and encourage the culture of openness in the organization with a special focus on diversity aspects

Your Story
B.S. Degree
Must demonstrate at least 5 years of relevant job experience
Experience in supplier contracts and negotiations
Experience with Quality Management Systems such as AS/EN 9100
Knowledge of federal regulations FAR; CFR and UCC
Operates with high integrity; builds trust and sustains credibility in relationships with others.
Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
Analytical and abstraction skills with sense of implementation
Know-how of ITAR/EAR regulations preferred
Knowledge of composite materials and processes preferred
Experience with selection and implementation of ERP / MRP systems preferred
