Pay Rate/Range: $17-20/hr
Description: The Saw Operator is responsible for cutting raw materials including metals and plastics to precise dimensions using a Hydmech H-14 horizontal band saw and a Brobo cold saw. This temporary role supports production during an employee absence and involves reading work orders and blueprints measuring and verifying dimensions selecting blades and adjusting machine settings for optimal performance. The Saw Operator will also deburr parts for safety and quality handle materials using lifting equipment perform basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean safe work area.
Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating industrial saws and be skilled in reading tape measures and basic blueprints. They should be comfortable working with raw metal stock with forklift experience considered a plus. This role requires the ability to stand for long periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm
