Legal Counsel

About the role

Were looking for a curious and business-minded Legal Counsel to join our growing Legal Privacy & Compliance team in Stockholm. You will play a key part in developing our Commercial and Operational functions negotiating and drafting commercial contracts building innovative business models and partnerships and providing high-quality legal and strategic advice in general corporate matters all while contributing to our ambitious growth journey.

You will work cross-functionally with a broad range of legal areas including corporate law contract law consumer law labour law rental law real property law and more. Your responsibilities will also include handling potential disputes and offering general legal guidance. As a strategic partner to the business you will encounter a diverse array of matters varying in complexity and scope and depending on your interests and expertise you will have the opportunity to lead your own projects and further develop your role.

Our legal team goes beyond the traditional boundaries of a corporate legal department. We act as true business partners sharing responsibility for and actively contributing to Instabees success.

Some of the things you will do

• Draft review and negotiate a broad range of contracts.

• Handle corporate governance matters for group companies.

• Provide clear business-oriented legal advice across multiple legal areas (e.g. corporate contract consumer labour real property law).

• Support and strengthen our legal operations by creating workflows templates and monitoring rights and obligations.

• Handle potential disputes and act as a trusted advisor to the business.

• Contribute to projects and initiatives that develop and mature our legal function.

Your future team

Youll join a closely knit legal team which handles all legal matters across Instabees markets. You will report directly to the Head of Legal and become an integral part of a team where every contribution truly counts.

What were looking for

• Law degree from a Nordic university.

• Around 2 years of relevant professional experience from a well-renowned law firm or as an in-house legal counsel. Regardless of your specific area of expertise you have worked in a commercial setting and possess the ability to think with a business-first mindset.

Required skill set:

• Excellent communication abilities and a natural talent for building professional relationships.

• Positive curious and highly adaptable with exceptional analytical skills and sound business judgment.

• Motivated by complex challenges structured in your approach and able to deliver results both independently and in collaboration with colleagues.

• Strong integrity and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of commercial and legal expertise.

• Proficient in both Swedish and English with exceptional command of written and spoken communication.
