Job Description

Financial Controller (m/f/d)
Position Summary
The Financial Controller will be responsible for the financial activities of the company in Belgium including accounting tax compliance financial planning & analysis (FP&A). This hands-on role requires a balance of technical expertise and operational execution to support business objectives
Your Tasks:
1. Accounting & Tax Compliance
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations ensuring accuracy and adherence to local standards.
- Manage relationships with external consultants for tax filings audits and statutory compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and tax documentation.
- Act as the primary liaison for external auditors tax advisors and external accountants.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Coordinate budgeting forecasting and long-term planning processes.
- Deliver clear data-driven financial insights and reporting for stakeholders
- Track and analyze key operational and financial KPIs.
- Support strategic initiatives.
3. Treasury Management
- Assist in managing cash flow forecasting liquidity planning and potential funding needs.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Economics or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred
- Experience in FP&A or strategic finance including in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of financial consolidation tools (e.g. LucaNet)
- Proven track record in reporting automation and optimization of financial systems
- Excellent analytical presentation and communication skills
- Strong business acumen and the ability to work with C-level stakeholders
- Proactive hands-on and solutions-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of the aviation industry GSE rental or related sectors is a plus
- Proficient in German and English both verbal and written
