Job Description
Travel RN- MedSurg / Telemetry (Contract Role)
Location: Burlington MA 01805
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings respond to changes in patient status.
- Administer medications perform treatments and document nursing care accurately in EPIC.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Float to other units as needed within the RNs scope of practice.
- Collaborate with physicians care teams and families to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care.
- Comply with infection control and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
- Licensure: Current Massachusetts RN License Required
Experience:
- 2 5 years of recent MS/Tele experience required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience required
