Job Description
Lead AV Engineer
Overview:
Our Lead AV Engineer will be hands-on leading project throughout the enterprise. This will require programming cabling racking networking troubleshooting as well as Project Management
Functions
- Lead efforts in deploying new technologies and maintaining current devices
- Technologies will include: Crestron Harman QSC and AMX
- Responsible for understanding and representing the strategic roadmap for the program adhering to requirements of business goals and objectives and monitoring and reporting progress of same.
- Responsible for managing both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills needed
- May require travel (< 10%) to other locations
- Typical hours 8-5 M-F but may require after hours work from time to time
- Manages with others in IT the business relationships with significant vendors.
- Provides or secures the training necessary to ensure optimum job performance of self and of direct reports.
- Seeks methods to optimize performance reduce costs and improve service levels.
Education and experience:
- 5 years in hands-on experience supporting enterprise AV equipment
- Gaming or hospitality experience preferred
- Project Management experience preferred
Work Environment:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Willing to complete tasks under strict time constraints which may require long off-hour and weekend work.
- Willing to work on-site at any of our casino resorts which may include exposure to noisy smoky and populated areas.
This is a hybrid role in Las Vegas NV.
One year contract.
