We are seeking an EDI Developer to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on the development and implementation of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions particularly around onboarding new partners and suppliers and internal migrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CLEO CIC EDI technologies data mapping and integration systems ensuring smooth implementations for partners vendors and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the technical aspects of onboarding new trading partners to the companys EDI platform including configuration integration and testing. As well as internal migrations from legacy platforms to new technologies.
Develop and implement EDI data maps to translate business documents into standardized formats (X12 EDIFACT XML CSV etc.). Ensure that data mappings comply with both business requirements and trading partner specifications.
Work directly with trading partners and customers to define EDI specifications troubleshoot issues and provide support throughout the onboarding process.
Perform rigorous testing on all EDI integrations to ensure successful transmission and receipt of data. Resolve any issues with data formats communication protocols or system configurations.
Configuration of EDI/API subaccounts based on existing customer mapping and integrations.
Provide ongoing support to resolve any technical issues related to EDI transactions working with business users trading partners and internal teams in hyper care and steady state.
Create and maintain documentation for EDI mappings integrations and processes ensuring all information is accessible for future troubleshooting or training. As well as ability to define and create gap analysis for internal migrations.
Continuously assess and improve the efficiency and reliability of the EDI onboarding process. Look for automation opportunities and improvements to speed up onboarding.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (preferred). Combination of experience and education may be considered.
Experience:
2-4 years of hands-on experience in EDI development or EDI support roles within the Cleo Cloud Solutions platform.
Experience working with EDI standards (e.g. X12 EDIFACT XML JSON). Familiarity with knowledge of data transformation and EDI mapping tools (e.g. IBM Sterling Cleo CIC Studio OpenText etc.).
Understanding of EDI communication protocols (e.g. AS2 FTP SFTP VANs).
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
Strong troubleshooting skills and an ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy when mapping data configuring integrations and troubleshooting issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in supply chain management or similar industries where EDI is heavily used.
Familiarity with industry-specific EDI and API standards or protocols including logistics document types such as (e.g.).
Knowledge of cloud-based integration solutions.
Experience with using Profit Tools and the target tool PortPro with exposure and good understanding of how the IBM sterling platform will migrate to a Cleo solution
